Shiatsu 2026

Clinic Sessions First Saturdays Shiatsu $65.

All treatments take place in the large classroom, under supervision of instructor. Sessions may be with students or graduates. Please wear comfortable clothes, preferably cotton. Wear socks. Lynn Diehl frequently offers Ion Foot bath sessions, Call Shirley at 570-499-9626 Appointments are 9:00, 10:30, 11:45 2:30 and 3:45 Cash or checks.

Shiatsu on traditional Futon mats or bodywork tables if needed.

For client comfort, we ask that you wear loose cotton clothing. Wear layers if you tend to be cold.   Plan at least 3 hours following your shiatsu to just relax, and enjoy the energy. No shopping, no computer work. No alcohol 24 hours before or after shiatsu. It's dehydrating.

Intro to Shiatsu, Live class, hours 9-4:30

Learn  the Whole Body Protocol for Health and wellness of family friends.   Usually the last weekend of the month. Call first to reserve your space.This  class is open to everyone who wishes to learn the one hour treatment protocol. 

Dates: Jan. 10-11 and January 24-25, March 28-29, April 25-26

Schedule a visit, 

Take Intro to Shiatsu, 

complete application

Upon acceptance, pay deposit and

provide copies of photo id (licenses or passport) and high school diploma.

Take weekday intensives or weekends.

Shiatsu levels 1-Meridians, Assessment skills, Priority 100 hours

Shiatsu Level 2 Adapting treatment, Migraines, Repro 100 Hours

Shiatsu level 3 Masunaga Extended Meridians             100 hours

Anatomy Western 50 hours


Additional Courses for AOBTA Membership: 

Traditional Chinese Medical Theory 50 hours

Shiatsu 201

Shiatsu Level Two, 7 weekends, January 3 thru Feb, 15th $1889.00 Learn to adapt shiatsu treatment to needs of clients. Includes study of migraines, neck & shoulder tensions, Repro systems. Summer Intensive Weekdays June 2026

Shiatsu 301

Shiatsu Level Three, 100 hours, Masunaga Extended Meridians, Governing Vessel and the Spine. $1989.00 Class is offered weekends February 28, 2026 through June 7, 2026. Summer Intensive July 2026

Upon completion of Shiatsu Foundation and Practitioner Programs, you may apply to join AOTBA as a certified practitioner,
